A Sight to Behold at the FREE 23rd Annual Water-wise Landscape Tour on Oct 14th

The City of Dallas Water Utilities and the Dallas County Master Gardeners are teaming up to demonstrate the beauty of Water-Wise and EarthKind™ gardening at the 23rd annual Water-Wise Landscape Tour. This year’s tour is highlighting residential landscapes, as well as several school and demonstration gardens in Dallas. Dallas County Master Gardener volunteers will also be assisting homeowners and helping answer questions about the plants and landscapes on the tour.

The first 500 visitors at the tour headquarters on October 14th between 9am and 1pm, will receive a free hose spray nozzle. Click here for a map of the self-driving tour. Maps will also be available at the tour headquarters on tour day. Tour Headquarters are located at White Rock Pump Station, 2900 White Rock Road, Dallas, TX 75214.

Dallas County Master Gardeners will have demonstrations and be giving free presentations/demonstrations on WaterWise gardening and related topics at the tour headquarters at the White Rock Pump Station and Scofield Christian School. Talks/demonstrations will begin at 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:30am at both locations.

Note: The school gardens at Nancy J. Cochran Elementary School (6000 Keeneland Parkway – Dallas 75211) and Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary School (4550 Worth Street – Dallas 75246) were listed on the Dallas Water Utilities September bill insert as being on this year’s Water-Wise Landscape tour. Due to unforeseen circumstances these school gardens will NOT be on the tour this year.
