When in need of a pie for those “Bring a Dish” parties, for last minute holiday do-drop-ins, or when hosting the family holiday meal and overwhelmed, here’s an EASY anecdote… the beautifully adorned pumpkin pie. First, buy a pie! If pumpkin isn’t your thing, substitute with a custard or buttermilk pie. Also, pick up a box of maple leaf of leaf-shaped cookies. Follow the steps below to create a seasonal garnish that makes that store-bought pie your very own. Now get decorating… First, lay the leaf-shaped cookies around the entire edge of the pie, slightly overlapping cookies for more texture. Take your frosted cranberries and place next to cookies ever few inches or so. It’s easy as pie! (Don’t forget to ditch the original pie packaging.)
