For the Love of Pets…Foster, Volunteer or Find Out More About City Services

We love our four-footed pets here in Kessler, but not all furry friends have care, a home and affection! Fostering a pet or volunteering at the City’s Animal Services Center on Westmoreland is a great way to impact the lives of pets in waiting. Register for an upcoming volunteer orientation and learn about the ins and outs of Dallas Animal Services and its programs. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer on their own. If you’re under 18 and interested in volunteering, bring along a parent or legal guardian. You can also contact DAS at 214-670-6800. The City of Dallas offers a host of support services in the pet department. Click here for information on adoption, lost pets, rescue groups, poison control, dog parks, spay & neuter programs, vaccines, pet laws, orphaned animals, report animal cruelty and more. For a bowl of satisfaction and a tail-wagging good time, consider sharing your time and love!
