Please note that our monthly KNU meeting place will now be at Kessler Park United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall at 1215 Turner Avenue. The new meeting time is at 6:30pm. Organization meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month, and are open to all member-residents. We encourage you to attend, have a voice and take an active role in the evolution of KNU. As we strive to provide more resources to our neighbors, we need folks to fill a few new key positions. These positions include order fulfillment for purchases made via our on-line Store, representing KNU on the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League Board alongside Anne Foster, being a KNU ambassador with Robb Puckett in generating awareness & outside contributions, and heading up the Streetscapes Committee which oversees sidewalks, streetlights, signage & other safety features. If you are interested, please contact Jerry Sanchez. We also welcome resident participation in our official website. We encourage you to submit lifestyle articles, snapshots, and other topics of interest to Web Content/Updates. There are many ways to get involved, so be sure to comb our Volunteer section.
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Jim Henderson and Stevens Park Golf Course for freely opening the doors for our KNU meetings over the years. Jim is our valued friend, ongoing supporter and sponsor of our organization. Stevens Park Golf Course is an integral landmark in our neighborhood with its lush green beauty bordering our many homes and walking trails.
