Spring Beautification Day Volunteers Did Quite a Number

A special thank you to the following sprightly neighbors who volunteered their time and Saturday morning to groom 9 islands and medians for all to enjoy! They are Lilia Belitz, Jacquelyn Block, Chuck Daniel, Jan Doherty, Mark Drennan, Kim Dunbar, Lisa Gossard, Rusty Hampton, Robert Kucharski, Larry McNally, Susie Moody, Ray Morris, Cindy Pierce, Jerry and Robyn Reno, Roland Robin, Jerry Sanchez, Bill Silverman, Ron Veech, and Susan Via. After clean up, the gang headed over to Norma’s Café for lunch and much needed iced tea (compliments of KNU). Our shared greenspaces add neighborhood charm, but also require regular maintenance. If you are interested in becoming part of KNU’s beautification efforts, contact Cindy Pierce at beautification@kesslerneighborsunited.org. We slate in a spring and fall beautification day, but always need help on our islands throughout the year. Take note of our handiwork as you pass by the following locations: Kessler Parkway/Colorado, Kessler Parkway/Edgefield, Lausanne/Colorado, Montclair/Colorado, Montclair/Kensington, Montclair/Argonne, North Oak Cliff Greenspace on the Coombs Creek Trail, Nob Hill/Kessler Canyon, and Nob Hill.

KNU is a 100% volunteer association that welcomes your participation! To get involved, check out our Volunteer page.
